BUSINESS REGISTRATION
Business Entity
Malaysia has three (3) types of business entity. The Companies Commission of Malaysia is the agency which incorporates and registers the three entities.
Sole Proprietership/Partnership
Sole Proprietership/Partnership business is a business registered under the Registration of Business Act 1956 (Act 197).
Company
Company is a type of business that is incorporated under the Companies Act 2016 (Act 777).
Limited Liability Partnership
Limited Liability Partnership is an alternative type of business under the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2012 (Act 743) which combines the characteristics of a private company and a conventional partnership.
